Ernährung von Wildchinchillas
Chinchilla Nahrung - in der freien Wildbahn
Wildlebende Chinchillas nehmen unterschiedliche Gräser, Blüten und Kräuter auf. Eigentlich ist die Ernährung wildlebender Chinchillas schon seit längeren bekannt.

Demnach nutzen Chinchillas ca. 50% der verfügbaren Pflanzen in ihrer Umgebung und fressen auch geringe Mengen an Samen. Die Hauptnahrungspflanze ist Nassella chilensis, ein Gras Gewächs.
